Conservation

McCurdy & Co. undertakes both timber repairs to existing historic buildings as well as the fabrication of frames and the construction of new timber structures. Projects include: the reconstruction of Barley Hall, a listed 14th century monastic hospice in the heart of York and full archaelogical survey, condition analysis and structural repairs to the Great Barn at Harmondsworth, one of the UK’s finest surviving mediaeval barns.
