MBL, based in Shefford, Bedfordshire, was established in 1990 to offer a nationwide service to our customers in the following areas:
- Conservation, repairs, full restoration or replication of historic locks, architectural ironmongery, and fittings.
- Full design and manufacture services for unique application or bespoke designs in a wide range of materials and finishes.
- A full architectural ironmongery scheduling and advisory service to architects, building contracts and interior designers. We also offer a historic ironmongery schedule to highlight current condition of historic ironmongery that is existing.
- Design, construction and maintenance of master key systems, key cutting, supply and installation of all types of ironmongery, locks, spares for wooden, metal and UPVC doors. We can also gain entry, and provide access control and safes.
- MBL have worked on many private historic properties, as well as public houses for English Heritage, National Trust, Scottish Heritage and Cadw. Projects include stately homes, town houses, castles, churches, and ecclesiastical buildings.
- Locksmith services and safe repairs, as well as key cutting and gaining access for both commercial and domestic dwellings.
