Terra Measurement Limited was established to focus on providing an innovative and professional service to clients of a wide range of market sectors. Managing director, Andrew Beardsley, brings a wealth of experience from previous roles as a surveyor manager, partner and director with other successful practices within the industry.

Our “mission” is to use the latest technology, software and methods to maintain our position at the leading edge of an ever evolving industry. We have no boundaries geographically and will undertake work throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

Training and Development:

Each surveyor is supported in their Continued Professional Development and training to help maintain and constantly improve our knowledge and experience base. This is not only provided by our training, equipment and software partners, but also at events organised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), The Survey Association (TSA) and the Chartered Institution for Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).

Health and Safety:

To best protect our surveyors and clients, all of our surveyors are provided with CITB - Construction Skills CSCS Smartcard training and Mineral Products Qualification Council - Contractor Safety Passports. We have been approved for the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). We are also completely open to adapting to any site specific inductions and procedures.

We conform to RICS Practice Standards, UK “Surveying safely”. Our goal is to maintain constant health and safety awareness and to be a Zero Harm business.

Equipment:

We believe in using the best equipment available and all of our surveyors use the following Leica Geosystems and Maptek instruments; Precise Levels, Total Stations, 3D Laser Scanners, Surveying GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and Disto Laser Measures.
Software:
To enable us to provide the wide range of products and services we offer, an extensive range of software is required. These are provided by the following: Adobe – Autodesk – Bentley – ClearEdge 3D - Eos Systems – Graphisoft – Kubit - Leica Geosystems – MBS - McCarthy Taylor – Microsoft – MicroSurvey


Quality Assurance:

Terra Measurement is committed achieving the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certification and has recently begun an extensive consultation. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality throughout all our processes, from project planning to data archiving.
We are Associate members of The Survey Association (TSA).
