The highly-trained and experienced team of craftsmen has worked on many prestigious architectural joinery projects such as the reinstatement of the Royal Apartments at Edinburgh Castle and has made and restored furniture – traditional and contemporary – for organisations such as CADW, Historic Royal Palaces, and the NT and for many private clients including HRH the Prince of Wales.

John Nethercott designs, and his highly regarded team of craftsmen makes and restores, fine furniture and architectural joinery. With nearly 40 years’ experience, John Nethercott has a keen eye for historical detail.

The company undertakes a wide range of work, both public and private: from a delicately turned finial for a fine piece of furniture, the reinstatement of the Royal Apartments at Edinburgh Castle, the conservation of the West Doors at Chester Cathedral to a collection of medieval furniture for Tretower Court.
