Barry Stow is an Architect experienced in the conservation and development of Listed buildings and historic townscapes.

Recent projects include a major conservation and repair programme at Tadworth Court, Surrey; masonry repair works at University College School, Hampstead; the conservation and development of Slyfield Farmhouse, Surrey, and South Ormsby Hall in Lincolnshire; advising the Strelka Institute, Moscow, on the development of Zaryadye Park, adjacent to Red Square and the Kremlin World Heritage Site; advising on the conservation of Listed buildings at Harrow School; masonry conservation work at Wiston House, Sussex; an assessment of the proposed Liverpool Waters docklands World Heritage Site; the repair of Westminster Abbey Chapter House and of defence outworks at Dover Castle, both for Historic England, and the reconstruction of the Leptis Magna Ruins in the Royal Park at Windsor Great Park, for the Crown Estate. He is the Inspecting Architect to 6 London churches.

We repair and adapt historic buildings, survey and prepare conservation strategies for churches, listed buildings, historic sites, townscapes, Scheduled Ancient Monuments and World Heritage Sites.

Barry Stow is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and the Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association. Barry Stow is also a consultant to Marcus Beale Architects.
