Barley Studio has an international reputation for excellence in stained glass creation and conservation for cathedrals, stately homes, parish churches and prestigious secular buildings across the UK and beyond.
The multi-skilled team is headed by Managing Director / Conservator Keith Barley and Creative Director / Artist Helen Whittaker and based in our purpose-built stained glass studio in York. We take an individually tailored approach to each project, developed in consultation with our clients; whether devising conservation strategies for historic glass, creating striking new designs to commission or producing period style plain glazing from our ‘Barley Bent’ range. As accredited conservators we offer advice, produce reports and undertake work on secular and ecclesiastical buildings throughout the UK. We adhere to industry standards of health and safety, with employees PASMA trained in mobile scaffolding and carrying Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) cards. |
