Antony Gibb Historic Buildings Consultants help people understand, enjoy and use their architectural heritage. We work for public, private and professional clients, often as part of multi-disciplinary teams. We provide services covering heritage consultancy, building surveys, architecture, interior design and design review.
We specialise in historic and listed buildings and provide a range of services for private clients. We carry out building surveys, specify repairs and oversee work on site. We work with Architects, providing planning and heritage advice for their schemes and prepare Heritage Impact Statements to accompany planning applications. We design extensions and alterations to listed and historic structures. We always save and retrofit buildings where possible. We use low carbon materials in our designs, repair like-with-like, and use traditional and re-used materials in our designs. The results are high quality, solid buildings that look right in historic contexts and which play their part in reducing carbon usage. We’ve won some awards for our designs, most recently ‘Best Remodelling’ and ‘Best Refurbishment of an Historic Building’ at the Jersey Design Awards 2019. |
