Marbas was established in 2015 in Winchester as a firm of consulting structural and civil engineers.
A widely experienced and proactive chartered engineering firm with a creative approach to problem solving. Working closely with the design team, our aim is to deliver solutions that respond to clients’ requirements whilst delivering excellent value. Marbas is committed to developing the sustainability agenda both within our practice and with our clients. We are constantly striving to achieve inspiring and practical solutions that make a genuine difference to the built environment whilst considering the environmental impacts. With over 30 years experience, the company was founded by Barnaby Swann and Sam Farzam, both chartered engineers with the Institution of Structural Engineers. They have gained significant experience across a broad range of sectors within the industry from working on new build and refurbishments works on residential, historic, educational, retail, industrial and transport to include airports. |
