The World leader in natural slate - Becoming the world leader in the production and distribution of slate is part of CUPA PIZARRAS founding DNA. Since the first mining development in 1892 our efforts have been centred in investigating new slate deposits and exploring and developing new production techniques. The objective is to satisfy the demand from each country and from each client. Production process - We have 20 quarries in Spain and 24 processing plants equipped with the most modern technologies that coexists with the traditional knowledge and craftsmanship which have been present since our origins. The quality and the guarantee of our products are backed up by meticulous control carried out throughout the whole slate production process from the extraction of the slate to the production in our processing plants.
