Delabole Slate is the centuries-old trade name for products of the Delabole Slate Quarry in Cornwall, probably the oldest working slate quarry in the world and the only source of Delabole Slate.
Our unique material is internationally renowned for its superb durability and aesthetic appeal as well as for its historical importance, being used in many prestigious and ancient buildings across Great Britain and the Commonwealth.
Although over 10 million tonnes has already been mined from the quarry in the last 1000 years, we still have mineral reserves for another millennium.
